The wheelchair is designed for those who weigh up to 25 stone (160kg). The wheelchair can be folded down to an extent that makes it easy to lift into and out of the boot.
This powerchair can be equipped with Invacare's Modulite seating system, which provides support for posture and comfort to the user. Twin batteries are available for a 27 mile range.

Based on the well-loved A06 Freedom Chair, this model is heavy-duty and designed to accommodate users up to 25 stone/160kgs. The powerchair comes with two 300 watt motors that will take you to speeds of up to 4mph and have a an endurance of 9 miles on a single battery (a second battery can be added).
When not in use, it is lightweight and compact. It is easy to transport and to store. It's perfect for those who travel on cruise ships, cars or plane with a chair because it is able to easily fit into the cabin. It also has airline-approved lithium-ion batteries and an adaptor cable for off-board charging.
The powerchair is controlled via the joystick that is mounted on either armrest. It is able to be used either right or left handed. The foot plate can be raised to allow for easy user transfers, and the tyres are 12" all-terrain PU which means it is able to tackle more difficult terrain.
There is plenty of room to store personal belongings in the handy under-seat pouch and the zippered pockets that are fixed on the seatback. For added user safety there are electronic brakes and a movable lap belt.
The Freedom A06L is maneuverable and is smaller than a mobility scooter. This means it can navigate tight spaces such as shopping centres or lifts. It can climb up to 8%. A kerb climber with an optional option is available, allowing you to drive over a step or ramp without requiring assistance. Other features include a sound horn, seat and back cushions that are removable for easy cleaning and the captain's seat that swivels with adjustable height of the armrest. A08L is all terrain wheelchair electric of our best selling A06 electric wheelchair. It comes with two main differences in terms of the size of the rear drive wheels and the strength of the motors that drive them. This more powerful setup means that the powerchair can support the maximum weight of 25 stone (160kg). It also achieves a top speed of 6.5 km/h (4 mph). The tyres with PU on this model are larger which makes it better suited for more rough terrains. The control system makes use of an electromagnetic brake to make it simple to stop and slow down.
This model is not only practical, but also very simple to use and folds easily. This makes it ideal for those who frequently travel with their electric wheelchairs as it can be folded down to the smallest size and then wheeled away using the back rest as an handle. One battery is supplied with this model but the second and third batteries are available to provide a range of 18 miles or 27 miles. There is a handy storage under the seat area for all your personal belongings and the controls are adjustable to accommodate right- or left-handed users. There is also a manual brake in case of emergencies and a seatbelt to ensure your safety.
